With the shackles of lockdown untethering, electric Sydney 2 piece Astrodeath are frothing at the mouth to continue their roadwarrior attitude and “responsibly” tear the country apart with bigger, better and badder new material than ever before.

Second single “Invasion”, from the anticipated follow up full length “ASTRODEATH VOL.2.”, will be released in the coming weeks, seeing the heavy hitters embark on an East Coast tour with support from some of the best Heavy bands Australia has to offer.  The band joins nationally touring minifest AFTERMATH hitting every State and territory in Australia including an appearance at Blacken Open Air.

Band string slinger Tim Lancken (Yoshi Hausler on drums) says of the upcoming return to the road, “We're all fired up, ready to get heavy and stoked to be riding most of this tour out with our favourite Australian band Mountain Wizard Death Cult.  Our split single "Wretched Invasion" will be on the merch table and online through Tuff Cuff records. This will be our first ever true national tour hitting all states and the Aftermath Festival.  Going to be huge! We're ready to lose some hearing and brain cells...”

Earlier in the year the band hit the road on the 'Leviathan Rising' tour notching up their biggest headline shows to date on the back of touring minifest 'Nights of the 666'.  The first single received Triple J play on 'The Racket'.

With the cosmic fury of bands 10 x times their experience, Astrodeath’s hard work has not gone unnoticed, carving them out a solid reputation in a short existence and seeing them support the likes of 1000mods (GRE), Nick Oliveri (QOTSA), Svetlanas (ITA) and more.

Astrodeath will embark on tour from October through November 2021 in support of new single ‘Invasion’, now available on a split 7" through Tuff Cuff Records with friends Mountain Wizard Death Cult.

“I don’t think there has ever existed a two-piece band capable of creating as much noise as Sydney duo Astrodeath. Made up of guitarist and vocalist Tim Lancken and Drummer Yoshi Hausler, the band stomp through a blistering concoction of sounds that will slap you right across the head.”   HAPPY MAG
