ASTRODEATH are excited to announce the launch of their new tour “RED WEED” celebrating the forthcoming release of their new single and video.

This new tour will see's the lads blasting up the East Coast for an array of shows in Victoria and New South Wales. ASTRODEATH will also head to Adelaide for the first time for the massive Froth ‘n’ Fury Festival. They'll also be jet setting to Western Australia for their maiden voyages to Perth and Bunbury in support of King Parrot.

Thursday October 20th premiere's the release of a brand-new video for the song “RED WEED” and contains raw footage of their recent jaunt to the Northern Territory for the massive Blacken Festival. The brand new album Vol.2 is now available to pre-add/pre save on your digital streaming platforms, and “RED WEED” will be available as an instant grat track from October 20th.

“RED WEED” lies firmly in the stoner rock realm, a slow chugging guitar compliments a chaotic and pummelling kick drum pattern and the tormented, screaming vocal echoes the pain of a man consumed by addiction and fear.

Yoshi Hausler, drummer in the two piece, says of the upcoming tour and release "I feel that this song really pulls a weird mix of both of our musical influences in heavy metal, doom and classic rock with a sprinkle of the ol’ Astro-spice as usual. We're ready to unleash the headbangs on the Red Weed tour! It’ll also be our first stint playing the Wild West in Perth and Bunbury with King Parrot so make sure you show us how it’s done out there!”

Having recently penned a deal with Young Management, and fresh off the back of a headlining set at Thrashville music festival, Tim and Yoshi are tour fit and hungry for headbangs! ASTRODEATH continue their road warrior ethos and show absolutely no signs of slowing down. It’s become clear to music punters all over the country that

ASTRODEATH are fast becoming one of Australia's hardest working bands. Physical pre-orders for Vol.2 will be launched on Thursday October 13th through Tuff Cuff Records in Australia and Black Farm Records, worldwide.

“I don’t think there has ever existed a two-piece band capable of creating as much noise as Sydney duo Astrodeath. Made up of guitarist and vocalist Tim Lancken and Drummer Yoshi Hausler, the band stomp through a blistering concoction of sounds that will slap you right across the head.”   HAPPY MAG
