Australian band Wild Marmalade are the pioneers of the didgeridoo and drum sound that is now a global phenomena. From their humble origins as street entertainers in the late 90s they have taken their unique brand of didgeridoo and drum dance music to stages, clubs and festivals the world over.
In a world where nearly everything is ordered and rehearsed, Wild Marmalade deliver a wholehearted journey into the present moment with a kind of reckless abandon that defies categorisation. The band enter the show arena empty handed, no set list. no plan whatsoever, just free minds in a sea of energy, ready to go.
Wild Marmalade have a busy year touring Australia ahead of them in 2019. The band are set to tour Europe in June - July with a stint to Asia later in 2019. With 16 tours of Europe and 12 tours of Japan under their belt, Wild Marmalade is not new to the international touring scene. Representing Australia at some of the largest world festivals and events.
Stay tuned for upcoming gigs and festivals for Wild Marmalade.
It was a true honour and pleasure having Wild Marmalade perform at Earth Garden 2018. They played twice on 2 different stages and on both gigs, they had a massive crowd and smashed the place both times! I had been listening to Wild Marmalade's music for years but when I experienced these guys live, they exceeded my expectations.....twice, in less than 24 hours! Phheewwww! Earth Garden Festival.
