With an active fan-base and critical acclaim, high-energy Blues Rock act Transvaal Diamond Syndicate have earned their plays on stations like Triple J and continue to be one of the most requested acts on Australian Community Radio and the national Festival circuit.
Transvaal Diamond Syndicate (TDS) are the manufacturers of some of Australia's finest foot-stompin' swamp and dirty Blues Rock.
It has been a busy and wild journey for Transvaal Diamond Syndicate from their inception back in late 2009, almost immediately garnering attention for their raw, energetic, exciting and often primeval live shows. Since then, the TDS have only gone from strength to strength, gathering fans nationally from constant touring, performing and strong social engagement.
In their 8 solid years near the top of the national Blues Rock touring stable they've managed to put over 300,000kms on the tour van, have dropped 5 releases, had 5 tracks featured on Triple J Radio and regularly been amongst the most requested artists on Australian Community Radio.
The band, renowned for their on-stage impact, have played most of the country's Blues and Roots festivals with appearances at Byron BluesFest, Great Southern BluesFest, Blues on Broadbeach, Australian Festival of Blues, QLD Festival of Blues, Sydney Blues and Roots, Queenscliff Music Festival and many more.
A swag of awards and critical acclaim has come the band's way with success in the Independent Music Awards (Blues Song Category Winner), MusicOz Awards Top 5 Finalist, QMusic Highly Commended, QLD Blues Award for Song of the Year, 4ZzZ #1 spot in their Hot 100 competition and International Song Competition Finalist. Add to this 4 and 5 star album reviews from The Music, Rave Magazine, The Courier Mail, Sydney Morning Herald and Zoo Magazine (not to mention others) and you can see that this is a band worthy of recognition for the positive impact they've had on bringing Australian Blues Rock to the fray.
The band is currently in the studio working on a split EP release to be dropped in 2018 and are wrapping up a 3 month national tour on the back of new single release 'How'd You Get So Low' which featured on Triple J Radio in November.

On the back of 7 years of solid national touring (around 100-150 gigs per year), 2017/18 will be spent finishing recording on the second instalment of a double EP release scheduled for 2018 entitled 'The Shackle' along with associated East Coast tours of Australia in support. Add to that a clip release as well as multiple Festival appearances and you have another busy year for the Heavy Blues troubadours.
The band is just wrapping up a large 3 month tour in support of lead single 'How'd You Get So Low' which saw the boys tour around the country at the back half of 2017 with Fest appearances at Red Deer, Cherry Fest in Melbourne and the Airlie Beach Music Festival.
