Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, Hobo Magic sling out a unique brand of old-school inspired psychedelic Rock'n'Roll madness, with a love of all things groovy and heavy. The talented trio kick out fresh sounding jams, spawned from the embers of the kings that riffed before them and strive to take the listener on a journey through uncharted places of the mind.
After a successful debut self-titled EP release in 2015 and follow up debut album 'The World Today', Hobo Magic have riffed and tripped around many of Australia’s clubs, pubs, bedrooms, skate parks and warehouses, ripping out their style of heavy grooving mayhem. The acclaimed act has supported such International heavyweight bands such as Radio Moscow, Earthless, Elder, Lecherous Gaze, Red Fang, Kadavar and The Sword, leaving ringing ears and smiling faces in their wake.
Teaming up with Beats Cartel, Hobo Magic have since toured Japan and New Zealand along with landing European distribution through Kozmik Artifactz and Cargo Records. The trio have entered the festival circuit over the last two years on the back of a blistering live show, appearing at Big Pineapple Music Festival, Jungle Love, Dead of Winter Festival, Mojo Burning, River Rocks, CherryFest and many more.
The band have toured heavily all through 2018 on the back of 3 single release tours for latest full release 'The World Today' and are currently in the studio working on their 2nd full length album, already having toured 2 singles which have received Triple J play.
The band will venture over to Europe mid 2019 to start their overseas journey on a more permanent basis. Those Europeans get it...

Hobo Magic over the past few years have been building up their road and air miles, smashing out single release tours and travelling all through the states of Australia bringing good time grooves to bars, pubs, venues and anywhere with a power outlet. Touring for debut album 'The World Today' late 2017 saw the boys play some of the country's best live music venues with some of the most diverse and exciting national and international touring acts, including fest slots at Jungle Love and Cherry Fest in Melbourne. The band then slotted 2 international tours with visits to New Zealand and Japan to make new fans.
Currently the band is on the road for the third time this year with a host of dates nation-wide in preparation for their next release. Europe and the USA are in the pipeline to also coincide with new album release.
