You wouldn't know if the fluorescent garage stoner grooves had infiltrated your mind or if the swing of the warm Jazz Rock had taken a hold of your standing feet, lifting you off like a fiery pollen hurricane of groove.
Fight Ibis, named Big Pineapple Music FestivalTriple J Unearthed Winner and Triple J Feature Artist in 2017, have had quite the introduction to the national scene, popping up on industry radars everywhere over the last year. With wraps coming from some big industry names, the band continues to release quality punchy singles having been added to Triple J spot rotation for debut single 'Dorothy Deadleg'. The band's second single 'Nazi Art' and third single 'Woolly Bop' also featured on the popular station with a fourth release 'Red Door' pending.
After playing over 100 original shows in their first two years of being a band, Fight Ibis are currently completing the mixing and mastering of their debut EP 'Maddie Had a Caravan'. The EP and additional single release will coincide with an East Coast tour later this year, touring with Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and more. A quick fire second EP follow up will drop at the end of the year with another single and tour run.
The band has joined many top tier acts on stage/tour including The Growlers (USA), Hockey Dad, Drunk Mums, The Chats, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, These NSW and more.
Recently signed to Beats Cartel, the four piece have plenty of music in the bank and will hit the ground running in the months ahead with a string of releases planned for market and some solid touring to boot.

Fight Ibis hit the road from September in support of new track 'Red Door', visiting multiple cities up and down the East Coast alongside Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and more. A new EP and single will also be released later this year in conjunction with another tour run.
