You wouldn't know if the fluorescent garage stoner grooves had infiltrated your mind or if the swing of the warm Jazz Rock had taken a hold of your standing feet, lifting you off like a fiery pollen hurricane of groove.
Fight Ibis, named Big Pineapple Music FestivalTriple J Unearthed Winner and Triple J Feature Artist in 2017, have had quite the introduction to the national scene, popping up on industry radars everywhere over the last year. With wraps coming from some big industry names, the band continues to release quality punchy singles having been added to spot rotation on the station for debut single 'Dorothy Deadleg'. The band's second single 'Nazi Art' also featured on the popular station with 3rd single 'Woolly Bop' soon to be released.
After playing over 50 original shows in their first year of being a band, Fight Ibis are currently completing the recording of their first EP who's third single release will coincide with an East Coast tour which runs up and down the East Coast with Sydney's 'The Knots' in support. The band also line up at Brisbane boutique fest Mojo Burning in April.
Recently signed to Beats Cartel, the four piece have plenty of music in the bank and will hit the ground running in the months ahead with a string of releases planned for market and some solid touring to boot.

Fight Ibis hit the road throughout February/March in support of new track 'Woolly Bop', visiting multiple cities up and down the East Coast . An EP will be released this year along with confirmed festival appearances at Mojo Burning and more. Watch this space!
